Prismatism - Ouroboros and Code
What is an Ourboros in Prismatism?
Suppose that Scientology is on to something when it claims that reality is merely agreement. Scientology has a concept called "reality" which they define as "agreement." Being a Pisces, L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology, was much more likely to develop a spiritual system, as Pisces rules spirituality.
So, can we all simply agree to stop murdering? No! We require laws against murder, theft, etc. still.. why?
The Cosmic Self, or what is evidenced by the astrological chart, shows that some people have a propensity towards behaviors or beliefs undeniably. An inordinate number of Socialists are Earth Signs, an inordinate number of serial killers are Water Signs.
The Ouroboros in Prismatism is the self that denies reality, logic, proof, or truths, to fulfill and suit a personal agenda, drive, or karmic release, which we can a ‘fulfillment’..
Example:
Bobby was told hundreds of times that doing crystal meth will lead to a downhill slide in his life. However, his sun being in the 12th house, he has a need to do self destructive actions as a Fulfillment. Thus, Bobby, no matter how many friends argued against it, began to get addicted to crystal meth, leading to a life of crime and debasement.
The Ouroboros is what prevents us from listening to beneficial logic or reason based on spiritual-level drives.
Meanwhile, Code, in Prismatism, is a fountain of outcomes that extrapolate in one’s life due to their Planetary Consciousness. For instance:
Danny is Marty’s dad. Marty has in his astrological chart Jupiter in Scorpio in the 9th, which results in a loss of the father at an early age. When Danny leaves the family at Marty’s young age of 9, it is actually their mutual code that has brought this about.
The pleasure principle, a fundamental concept in Freudian psychoanalysis, describes our innate drive to seek immediate gratification and avoid pain. Operating through the id - our primitive, unconscious mind - this principle motivates us to instantly satisfy basic needs and desires without regard for consequences or practicality. It manifests in our most basic behaviors, from a baby crying for food to adults seeking immediate rewards and avoiding discomfort.
In Prismatism, we hold this truth to be self evident: that people do not forsake their Ouroboros unless their Pleasure Principle is compromised. In other words, if the Cosmic Self wants to be a drug addict, it will be a drug addict, barring some interfering force that can not be compromised.
