The "Pleroma" (Greek for "Fullness") is the name the Gnostics gave to Heaven, sort of.
"Aeon" had a few different meanings in antiquity. Depending on the context, it could mean a long stretch of time, a spiritual being, or a realm in which spiritual beings live. So the Gnostic usage was well within what was standard practice in their time. For our purposes, an Aeon might be an astrological age, being that time as we know it is largely constructed for commercial purposes, with many distortions of reality in its entropy. If you can see that Pisces is both a cluster of stars in the sky, and a personality type on earth, as well as a 2,000 year astrological cycle, then you can envision what an Aeon truly is.
Simply put, for Gnostics, the material world is an inherently flawed manifestation of The Demiurge, the chief Archon, Satan, Saturn. The spiritual realm, alternately, requires hidden knowledge to access. The divine spark given to human beings is then oppressed in the material world, and could be seen to be made manifest in imagination, itself a means of accessing the divine.
The pineal gland is located in the epithalamus near the center of the brain. It is a part of the endocrine system and found outside the blood-brain barrier. It is reddish-gray in color, conical in shape, and about the size of a pea. The pineal body is found in most vertebrate species and biologists have classified the gland as an atrophied photoreceptor, or a vestigial eye (think of the inferences of a third eye), depending on the species of interest.
What Christ really did, and similarly what Pisces does, is reveal the Pleroma to all in this material plane through iterations of spiritual, non-material, and psychically sensitive manifestations.
The "divine spark" is essentially the soul, which exists outside of the material lie as built by the Archons. The Archons attempt to keep humans away from their divine spark by suppressing this knowledge, and keeping the masses in the dark of materialism. This is very similar to the Tarot card The Priestess, who carries the Torah, and is associated with Pisces.
As you can see, the two towers of Jachin and Boaz return again, and, through the Priestess, we can access the religious secrets of the Torah. You can see the Pisces glyph as her headpiece, and you can see that she is also the Kabbalistic Tree of Life:
The Priestess itself is a symbol for access to the spiritual world. Through the second principle (card II) of Tarot, card I being the Magician, who offers possibilities and powers, and the duality of the two is the Sun and Moon. It speaks to the necessity of archetypal male energy: that of the Magician, Sun ruled, who builds the world through magic acts, and his female counterpart, moon ruled, who offers the reason for doing to begin with, the supernatural Id to the Magician's Ego. It is not for lack of understanding that it is a mystery, but rather it is a mystery by nature.
You can see in Rome a pine cone fountain, The Fontana della Pigna, which seems to be a Roman reference to this phenomenon, and perhaps the Catholics' attempt to control or suppress the pineal gland's power.
Alternately, The Aeons are said to emanate from the Pleroma, giving human beings access points to the divine nature beyond the material realm. The aeons arose from the Monad which bears resemblance to a father God figure – that is, they sprang from him without him having gone out of his way to "create" them. This too is paralleled in the story of Saturn 'giving birth' to the other Gods of the Pantheon. Keep in mind the cornerstone of Gnosticism, The Nag Hammadi, was only discovered in 1945.
Consider William Blake's rendering of The Demiurge and its compass motif, alongside the Masonic worship of Saturn/Satan, and their compass motif, further evidence that Freemasons worship Saturn/Satan/The Demiurge.
This notion that the world is created by an evil, unjust figure and that seeing through it is necessary to gain true knowledge is a key philosophy of Gnosticism, as opposed to Christianity, which, at its root, demands blind submission to an invisible father figure who does not save you from danger or problems in this world.
The Babylonian God Apkallu (which means, 'wise') is depicted carrying the pine cone, sometimes thought to be perhaps an ancient alien inference of the seat of the soul.
Could the 'light' that Masons seek actually be the divine spark as indicated in Gnosticism, i.e. Gnosis itself?
The aeons emanate from God in male-female pairs called "syzygies" (singular syzygy). Since syzygy means "yoked together", this may be the reason for the biblical passage 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 in which Christians are instructed to not be "unequally yoked" with non-believers. Consider this when observing the birth pangs of the Age of Aquarius having the features of genderlessness and/or trans identity. Very few people born 1984 and on, when Pluto was in the sign of Scorpio (which rules sex and gender) will be opposed to trans rights or same-sex marriage. Similarly, very few people with Scorpio, Cancer, or Pisces suns (namely, the Water signs) will take issue with them either. On the other hand, you might see many Earth signs and a few Fire Signs become opposed to some sort of gender cornucopia as opposed to a binary paradigm.
One of the members of each pair that constituted a syzygy had a grammatically feminine name and the other had a grammatically masculine name. But the Gnostic texts also refer to them in ways that suggest that they transcend gender, so the genders of the aeons evidently weren't seen as being rigid or absolute, but on a spectrum. Suppose for a moment that Gnosticism is true. In its era, one of the first things that would unfurl would be notions of gender.
People born with Pluto in Leo (1939-1957), almost without fail, insist upon conventional gender roles. They might also enjoy cowboy shows, Schwarzenegger (himself a Leo) war movies, etc., because their particular karmic lot has very masculine and cinematic energy, which does not thrive in a Gnostic paradigm. This is why they cling to TV so closely, this transmitter of confident, false leonine shadows across Plato's cave. It's also why their figures of Americana are parodies of machismo; John Wayne, etc.
Judith Pamela Butler (born February 24, 1956) is an American philosopher and gender studies scholar whose work has influenced political philosophy, ethics, and the fields of third-wave feminism, queer theory, and literary theory. She is a Pluto Leo, but a Pisces Sun. So, in the 1990s before people starting 'remixing' gender popularly, she was more of a fringe academic. But, always a Pisces.
Believing that 'strength' delineates from patriarchal power because of the themes of a post WWII society (Pluto in Cancer, and Cancer rules family), in which military men filled the suburbs and provided for their families (with such spoils of war as the first TVs), they undermine the power of femininity as mere receptivity, a thing to occupy the home, being distinctly tone deaf toward the Priestess' larger purpose. Plastic Jesus statues and White Jesus iconography (itself a war artifact) abound the suburban wasteland and symbolically pollute the spiritual center of America's material prison. The cross itself a perversion of the Tree of Life that the Priestess offers, the force of God becomes a silent, invisible, judgmental father figure, instead of an ever-present mystery, to be accessed through feminine power.
Pluto in Leo's child ego state requires comforting narratives. Television came about at just the cosmically accurate time to provide them.
In fact, The allegory of the cave perfectly explains Gnosis.
Alternately, consider a few people with the energy of Sun in Pisces who have trivialized, defied, or altered the notion of gender, as Pisces is the merging of Venus and Eros to escape the monster Typhon. Jesus, the Martyr against the Roman Empire, whose age is represented by a fish and the sign of Pisces, can be seen as an archetype of Gnosis, fighting against the Archons of spiritual death.
The corruption of the feminine spiritual principle of Pisces and of the Gnostic Aeon Sophia, from which we derive the word philosophy, or love of thought, is really just a dualistic manifestation of preoccupation with feminine secrets, and a patriarchal desire to claim every inch of internal and external femininity to chart and map and conquer. It is in this way that Sophia morphed into Mary for Catholics, a thinly veiled motif of woman-as-vessel that amounts to the Dollar Store version of the Priestess made available for mass consumption.
Pisces Sun Genesis Breyer P-Orridge became his partner (and vice versa), through surgery even. Their project Psychic TV frequently used the Gnostic cross.
Similarly, Ellen Page became Elliot Page, also a Pisces Sun:
Pisces L Ron Hubbard created a whole religion complete with alien overlords, evil spirits that attach to you, and interviews in which you hold tin cans. This emphasis on the inner life as opposed to the material or "real world" is what Pisces manifest.
As you can see in the work of Pisces Sun George Harrison, spirituality and flesh-transcendent motifs will always shine through in Pisces works.
The difference between the body and the person is a recurring theme for Pisces. Take the work of Pisces Sun, David Cronenberg. Orgies, Cults, Technology, and other means of transcending the flesh are explored in almost every Cronenberg film.
Now juxtapose that with Pisces Sun Labanna Babalon who, through trap club kid style culture, manifested her own reality as a sexually awakened 'whoreship' priestess:
Similarly, Pisces Alexandra Drewchin, in her project Eartheater, is worth a look for these purposes:
The first time the western audience really heard a sitar was by way of Brian Jones, Pisces Sun, in The Rolling Stones' Paint It Black. George Harrison also implemented the sitar frequently. True to Pisces/12th house form, he also died of a drug overdose at just 27 years old.
Jesus, to the Gnostics, holds the same role as the snake in the Garden, a being sent by the Monad beckoning Adam and Eve to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge (gnosis) to awaken to divine knowledge and be free, away from The Demiurge's prison of the material world. The belief of Gnostics and of Christians then, are flipped in a way; the knowledge of the Earth and the Soul are in direct conflict with the creator of this world, who is evil and enslaves humanity out of jealousy and wrath. This paradigm thrives in the astrological sign of Pisces, whose natives often believe that the Patriarchs and the Patriarchy of this world are in fact evil, nature-and-innocence destroying, and that the unbridled feminine should be attained to access portals to the divine.
The Gnostics thought of the Aeons as being only semi-distinct entities who remained in some sense identical with God, extensions of particular parts of his being who could nevertheless think and act independently. Like the three members of the Trinity, they were like different fingers on the same hand or different peaks on the same mountain. In this way, too, we can see that the zodiac might be understood as a kind of Pantheon and 'God' as the full account of all, with Earth as a kind of ruin on which souls have material experiences.
In the Gnostic paradigm, it would be the Archons who dement and distort THIS plane, and subtract from you your true, deeper, spiritual self. Keep in mind when considering this paradigm that Archons function through copies, through unreal likenesses of reality. It is this stale, false, non-vital subconscious image that permeates reflexive perceptions of Corporatocracy or other purely material economic structures, which have forsaken the subtle, spiritual world for the vulgarity of commerce.
The Pleroma is depicted as being much like the world of the Forms in Plato's thought:
An ideal, unchanging, eternal realm of which the material world is a corrupted, inferior copy. It is Archons that celebrate or promulgate the copy, like the bureaucrats of materialism, they thrive on impurity and false doctrines, whereas raw, unmitigated 'galactic' truth would shine in an Aeon expression. From this expression we can receive Gnosis. This is why we consider dogmatic religions, such as Catholicism, as falling short of galactic spiritual truths, and more like an extremely toxic substitute for the spiritually blind.
“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”
